Riva Launches Its Largest Yacht Ever Built
Riva focuses on its superyacht division. Clients are demanding more space and amenities.
Riva Launches A Four-decker Superyacht
Riva has announced the launch of the RIVA 54METRI , its largest superyacht to date at 177 feet. The lightweight aluminium constructed beauty was launched from the Ferretti Group's Superyacht Division facility in Ancona. Her sleek and sporty profile in moon gray and black with polished steel detailing contrasts beautifully with flashes of the unmistakable Riva aquamarine colour accent at the waterline.
To meet market demand for increasing larger yachts, Riva has continued its expansion of its superyacht offering. Each model distinctly Riva and emanating timeless beauty and a profile modelled on its smaller motoryacht cousins. The trend for larger yachts has been driven by the increasing wealth of individuals with a desire for more space, privacy, and luxury amenities on board.
RIVA 54METRI was developed in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari. The build was also supported throughout by Alain Maaraoui, founder and president of Sea Pros Yachts, Riva’s exclusive dealer in Kuwait, who assisted the owner from contract through to delivery.

Layout and Accommodation
RIVA 54METRI can accommodate up to 10 guests in four spacious guest staterooms, including a forward-facing master suite located on the main deck. The yacht can also cater to up to 11 crew members across five double cabins and a captain’s cabin. For easy access there is a lift that connects the lower, main and upper decks.

A Helm Clad In Cutting-Edge Tech
The helm station is equipped with two X-band radar systems, 5G connectivity plus a Starlink antenna, a full ECDIS system, three 27-inch touchscreens and a 44-inch stretch monitor.
Fine Materials
The interiors feature fine marble including Sahara Noir and Bianco Rhino. Alternating natural teak panelling with leather and marble finishes creates an elegant contrasts of colour and texture throughout.
A Luxury Yacht Focused On Privacy And Peace
There is a strong focus on guest privacy, with special crew routes to ensure discreet and efficient service on all decks. Acoustic comfort was another design priority. To prevent noise control, Riva used innovative solutions onboard to ensure maximum insulation and reduce vibration. There are four electric stabilizer fins and two electric rudders, designed to ensure the maximum possible comfort and silence when underway.
“Riva 54METRI will turn heads in every marina and magnificently celebrates the visionary genius of Carlo Riva and his megayacht project of the 1960s and 1970s,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.
What is next for Riva?
There is an even bigger bun in the shipyards oven, so to speak. Although all we have seen is a teaser of the sleek superyacht in the darkness. The Italian shipyard has confirmed that the next Riva superyacht in the pipeline is a Riva 70 Metri which will span an impressive 230 feet, meaning it will have a solid 53 feet on the current flagship.
